Click on the skill

on your match report to watch the corresponding action within the recording. You can analyse every skill in order to see individual statistics for each player and evaluate their evolution over time. 

Rotation analysis

is necessary to examine the team’s behavior in the two different phases of break point and side out, considering scores won and lost. You can also watch the actions in slow motion and fast forward.

Custom editing

according to what the analysis reveals, allows you to show to your athletes their weakness and strength. Thanks to the frame editor you can add lines and text to your images.

Scout your entire match with just a few clicks

Capture or import the video from your match on to a PC. You can scout the rotations by setting the server and setter's position on the court and then with just a few clicks each rally, organize the match. If you own either Click&Scout or Data Volley, you are able to automatically synchronize the video and statistical data from the first serve instead of having to go back and synchronize the video point by point.

Video analysis of statistical data

You can watch the rallies of each rotation as many times as you want. By importing the scout file you are able to analyze the video when clicking on any skill. Use the frame editor to save the most important parts during the game so you are able to watch it later.

Video editing

Create a video of one or more rotations by identifying the team and sets played. Share the video with your team to have a better analysis of the game.

Streaming Video

Replay the action just completed in order to quickly adapt your strategy. You can use this feature to show your players the movements he just made.


  • 1 - I have just received the package, how do I install/activate the program?

    Insert the CD in your computer and wait for the menu to appear. If it doesn’t appear automatically open My Computer and double click on the Data Project CD icon.
    Follow the path regarding the program you are installing, click on [Install Program] and follow the prompts.
    When you have completed the installation procedure, connect the smart key to a USB port and launch the software by clicking on the icon on your desktop. When you launch the program for the first time the program will ask you for a license file that you can find in the ‘’License’’ folder of the CD. Click on [Find] to select the path and confirm to activate the program.

  • 2 - I need to install the software, but I can no longer find the setup CD and the license file.

    The installation setup file of the programs can be downloaded from the website, select DOWNLOAD from the menu panel, select the software you want to install and press the [Download] button in ‘’Complete Installation’’. The license file can be copied from the program folder onto your old computer and pasted into the new folder on the new computer.

  • 3 - I have installed the software but when I launch it the program crashes and it asks for a license file.

    The license file can be found in the ‘’License’’ folder in the CD supplied by Data Project. Launch the software and select the CD-rom path when prompted; click on [Next] to continue.
    If you don’t have the CD, use the Send Configuration feature by pressing on the relative button*.
    The license file will be sent to you by e-mail.

    *if you don’t use an e-mail client (Outlook, Windows Mail ..) you will need to copy, in a normal message, the code that appears in the Key Configuration field.

  • 4 - I purchased the program some time ago but I no longer have a computer with a serial port. How can I connect the key?

    Send the serial key to our Salerno branch and ask for a USB substitute. Don’t forget to include your personal details and address where you want the new key sending.

  • 5 - I want to buy a netbook, can I install your software on the new computer even if it doesn’t have a CD player?

    Yes you can. There are two solutions:

    • If you have an internet connection, download the setup from the website onto the new netbook
    • If you don’t have an internet connection, copy the installation file from the CD-rom, on a USB device(key or hard disk).

  • 6 - I have just installed the program on a Computer with Windows Vista/7 but the key is not being recognized.

    Verify the release of the program you have installed and make sure it corresponds to the last version available on the website and make sure the smart key is connected correctly. If the problem persists, go to the DOWNLOAD section and select Utility, click on [Key Utility] to download the key drive. Launch iKey_Setup.exe and follow the instructions on screen to complete the installation procedure.

  • 7 - The USB protection key is not being recognized by Windows. What do I need to do?

    Make sure the smart key is connected correctly to a USB port or try and connect it to another computer. If it is not recognized it may be damaged. If this is the case, send an e-mail to specifying your personal details and if possible the number of the smart key. There will be no charges but it must be sent to the Salerno branch stating the address you want us to send it to.

  • 8 - When I launch the program it tells me I must install the BDE software library.

    Access the DOWNLOAD – Utility section and select “BDE Installation”. Download the iBDE_Setup.exe file and launch it to start the installation procedure.

  • 9 - Can I install the software on two computers?

    Yes, for all programs apart from the ones for handheld devices (DV e DS) and Click&Scout.
    Needless to say, if a smart key is required, you will need to move it from one computer to the other.

  • 10 - When I launch the program it warns me the license file has almost run out. What does this mean?

    You must be using a temporary license. The program will warn you 15 days before it runs out. You can renew the license by purchasing it online or by contacting our sales department by sending an e-mail to or by telephone+390896307845.

  • 11 - I have received the CD and the smart key but once I install and enter the license file the program prompts me with the following error: one or more license files have been found in the license folder of the program. No license is valid with the connected key.

    First of all make sure you have installed the Essential version of DataVideo2007.
    To do so check the name of the program folder that should be C:\Data Project\Data Video 2007 Essential (and not C:\Data Project\Data Video 2007).
    Always remember to check the smart key is connected correctly and is recognized by Windows (you can try by changing the USB port). Alternatively you can manually copy the license file from the CD-rom:
    - Go to Computer (My Computer) and right click on the Data Project icon and select Open (or explore). Open the ‘’License’’ folder and copy the “LIC_…xml” license file. Paste the file in the C:\Data Project\Data Video 2007 Essential folder.

  • 12 - I can’t import/open a video file.

    Remove all Divx video codec and remove Divx Player from the list of applications in the Control Panel.
    Download the XVID codec from the Utility section in the Download area.
    If necessary download and install the CCCP video codec

  • 13 - The streaming preview is a black screen.

    Update Windows Media Player to version 11.
    Update the drive of the video capture board.
